Fuel Surcharges

Fuel surcharges reflect the variable nature of fuel costs in the transportation industry. The contracts with Connect Logistics Service’s (CLS) carriers include a fuel surcharge. CLS reviews the Fuel Surcharge Rate on an ongoing basis with AGLC.

Since the last rate change to Fuel Surcharge Rates, market pressures and global events continue to drive fuel prices up substantially. Effective July 2, 2022 the Fuel Surcharge Rate will change from $0.18 to $0.29 per case.

CLS is working diligently with Carriers to mitigate costs, including adjusting routes and order days to increase efficiency.
