Margaux has been working in the hospitality and drinks business for close to twenty years. After a switch from luxury hotels to wine, and the business of getting it around the world and into the right hands, Margaux started Lingua Vina in 2012.

The goal has always been to get people the tools to learn about, drink, love and sell wine in the best way possible. Whether that means education, better understanding the economics of it all, import strategies or events, Margaux is passionate about ensuring the right resources are available.

Based in Edmonton, Alberta, Margaux is able to take full advantage of Canada's only privatized market. Not having to deal with a government liquor board ensures Alberta is a great starting point to enter the Canadian and North American markets.
The comprehensive selection (16 000+ wine skus) available in the province allows Margaux to offer many education opportunities for consumers and trade alike, while helping producers best navigate an effective way to share and promote their products within the AGLC framework and through Alberta's network of independent retailers.
