I have often used Montaudon Brut NV Champagne for teaching purposes. It is a wonderful expression of Champagne. I love the fine golden colour, the long lasting bubbles and the fresh bread on the nose. The “Brut” means dry, so the wine has gentle acidity and a clean finish.  The “NV” means Non Vintage. The wines used in the blending came from the best of different years. The master blender knows, by vast experience, how to blend each bottling into the house style. The wines are made of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier then blended together into the harmonious Montaudon. It is excellent value and the price is at a re introductory offer, as it had gone from the market and now back!
