Connect turns off OLD website

As of January 8, 2012 all retailers must use the liquorconnect.com site

Connect logistics left the old site running to get retailers through the Holiday Season, but now everyone must use the new site www.liquorconnect.com . The new site does have some requirements that we want to remind you about. You must use a computer that has the Windows XP level.. To ensure you have the right software click on the link to download Windows XP http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322389

In order to assist you in navigating the new site, Connect has brought in additional call centre staff for the next two weeks to assist retailers by telephone at 780-418-6500 or toll free at 1-800-265-6784 or you can email them as well at connect@exel.com .

In addition Fuel Surcharge Changes

Fuel Surcharges are meant to reflect the changes in the fuel costs. Connect announced and sent letters to all retailers on December 19, 2011, to notify you of the changes. Those changes are a direct result of fuel costs. The contracts with the various carries that connect logistics uses include a fuel surcharge. With the increase in diesel fuel prices recently, the fuel surcharge paid to the carriers has increased.

Therefore, Effective January 1, 2012, Connect Logistics Services will pass along this increase in the Fuel Surcharge, with the rate changing from .15 to .16 cents per case.

Connect Logistics will continue to review the Fuel Surcharge Rate on a monthly basis. This increase and any future changes will be reflected on your invoice.

Our surcharge rate will reflect the charge from our carriers which is based on the Freight Carriers Association Rates.
